Who We Are
AJ Electric is owned and managed by Joseph Borg, who has an expert technical background in Electrical Systems. He has a Higher Tech Diploma, which he received from the Malta College of Arts Science and Technology (MCAST).
Before starting his own business, he gained immense on-the-job experience working at leading industrial-based companies in the Maltese Islands. As a result, he has earned extensive knowledge and technical expertise, which he has since applied whilst growing his own company.
The organisation operates in a system of departmental responsibilities. Headed by the Managing Director and supported by the Administration Director, the team is divided into various areas of focus, each led by a supervisor/team leader.Since 2008, the company has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of quality electrical systems serving professional project managers, architects, engineers, electricians and the general public.
Operating from a well-stocked showroom, stores and offices in premises of over 1500sqm, AJ Electric has managed to grow each year thanks to the tenacity of the company directors, the hard work of its employees as well as the positive support from the first foreign suppliers representing prestigious brands such as LUXRAM, WELLUCK, ETI, JANGAR, TAILI and others who trusted Joseph and his team to represent them locally.
Most recently, AJ Electric has been appointed the official distributor and partner for SIEMENS Low Voltage, enhancing the portfolio of brands to ensure a complete 360-degree service to all target audiences.
Joseph is closely supported in strategic directorship by his spouse Priscilla, who specialises in Administration and Credit Control.
The AJ Electric Team
AJ Electric’s directors recognise that the company’s success revolves around the efficient service extended by all its employees. As a result, staff members are brought on board and trained to deliver on the company’s ethos of providing superior customer service to all customers, whether large or small.
The company currently employs a well-experienced, qualified team of 25 staff members, whose duties range from sales, stores, administration and delivery. It is with the support and dedication of all its staff, that AJ Electric can continue to provide superior customer-driven service, striving to remain one of the leading electrical suppliers and service companies in Malta.
